Which Way?
HotSW Virtual Career Fair
We're thrilled to announce our new collaboration with Heart of the South West LEP, HotSW Careers Hub. Supported by Devon County Council the Virtual Careers Fair titled “Which Way?” will provide the opportunity for students across the regions of Plymouth, Torbay, Devon & Somerset FREE access to an online event that explores careers and their pathways into employment.
What is the careers fair?
Aimed at Years 7-13, the event will connect young people with local and national employers together with further and higher education providers across Devon, Somerset, Plymouth and Torbay, broadening horizons and raising aspirations through career-related learning.
The 3-day event, taking place on the 27th, 28th and 29th April, will involve a virtual exhibition as well as 6 live sessions, including opportunities for Q&A and meaningful interactions with employers to support you with meeting Gatsby Benchmarks 5 and 7 primarily.
Each day will focus on different keystages and as a minimum we recommend allocating a morning or an afternoon to the event, allowing 1-2 hours for your students to explore the fair and 1 hour to take part in a live session.
What can you access as part of the event?
Your ticket will provide you with access to the full event over the three days. The event will include live sessions, as well as a range of resources available beforehand and on the event days.
